Terms of service
The terms that apply when you use this website or engage RSC Industries Pty Ltd, read together with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Last updated: 3 November 2026
1. About these terms
These terms are issued by RSC Industries Pty Ltd (ABN 94 703 609 992, ACN 703 609 992) ("RSC Industries", "we", "us" or "our"). They apply to your use of rscindustriestec.site and to any goods or services we supply, unless a separate written agreement or accepted quote says otherwise. Where there is a conflict, the written agreement or accepted quote prevails.
2. Use of this website
The content on this website is general information about our business and may change without notice. It is not an offer capable of acceptance. You agree not to use the site in a way that is unlawful, or that could damage, disable or impair it.
3. Quotes and engagements
- Quotes are provided in writing and are valid for the period stated on the quote.
- Each engagement is limited to the scope of work set out in the accepted quote or written scope.
- Changes to the scope, including additional work or materials, must be agreed in writing and may change the price and timing.
- You are responsible for giving us safe and reasonable access to any site where work is to be carried out, and for telling us about any known hazards.
4. Payment
Payment terms are set out in each quote or invoice. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, invoices are payable by the due date shown on them. Title to goods we supply passes to you once they have been paid for in full.
5. Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)). For major failures with a service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done, you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or other term or condition, implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject always to section 5 above:
- where our liability for a breach of a consumer guarantee can lawfully be limited, it is limited, at our option, to resupplying the services or paying the cost of having them resupplied, or to replacing or repairing the goods or paying the cost of doing so;
- we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, revenue or business opportunity; and
- we are not liable for loss arising from your reliance on general information published on this website.
7. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, layout, graphics and the RSC Industries name and mark, is owned by or licensed to RSC Industries Pty Ltd. You may view and print pages for your own reference, but you may not reproduce, adapt or distribute the content for any other purpose without our written permission. Documents we prepare for a job, such as scopes and quotes, are provided for your use on that job.
8. Privacy
We handle personal information in accordance with our privacy policy.
9. Termination
Either party may end an engagement by written notice if the other party materially breaches these terms or the accepted quote and does not fix the breach within a reasonable time after being asked to. You may also end an engagement for convenience by written notice, in which case you must pay for work performed and goods supplied or ordered up to the date of termination. Termination does not affect rights that have already accrued, or your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. We may suspend or withdraw access to this website at any time.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria (VIC), Australia. Each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and any courts that may hear appeals from them.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies from its "last updated" date; changes do not affect an engagement already agreed in writing.
